Today I increased my impact by writing in my journal. I spent all morning just reflecting on my first quarter and what I've done to stay true to what I learned in Tignum. I was about 80% which was good but I know I can do better. Next quarter my impact will be even higher. The good news is that people always comment on the improvement in my energy and my attitude. In fact, its becoming infectious.

In my business life I have worked for big companies, medium sized companies, and small companies (as small as 3 people). Size does matter but its not always in a good way. Many times being large carries with it a lot of politics, fear, and fatigue. On the other hand, in a small company there are less politics but there are also aren't any excuses or places to hide. You produce or you starve.

To me the one common denominator is the need to be at your best. Having experienced the Tignum program twice, with two different companies and teams you guys deliver on this need. The bottom line is always that I (as an individual) need to be at my best and its my responsibility to make it happen. Your support made it possible.

I read everyone of your blogs. Oh wait, that's what you did to impact me. Today, I took a powernap and that really improved my impact. I am wide awake and surfing blogs. Now I better start planning for tomorrow's impact.

This is on the money. It is all about impact. Today, I listened to someone better than I ever have and it really left an impact.
